Night Call (2016-present)
There doesn't seem to be much need for the public pay phone, when everyone these days has a phone in their pocket or purse. The phone companies remove pay phones from areas where they are not making enough revenue to justify their existence, although in the case of removal, the only thing removed is the actual phone receiver and base. The stand, sides, signage and everything else that identify that there was a pay phone located here remain.
I photograph these remains during the night as the pay phone seems a part of that world, specially the ones located outside of bars or liquor stores.
