Laidric Stevenson is a self-taught Dallas based photographer. Originally born in Wisconsin, he attended the University of Texas-Arlington graduating with a BA in Journalism and a minor in Sociology. His work explores themes such as nostalgia, the topographical changes of the urban landscape, and the forgotten details that the never ending technological race to perfection has left behind. He works with film camera in formats ranging from Polaroid all the way up to large format. He believes that photography truly shines as an art form when it is presented in the book format. Because of that he is a frequent self-publisher of small photo books and zines, mostly for himself, but he one day believes that he'll have a project worth enough for a Kickstarter campaign.
