I’ve been going back through years of my negatives, and I’ve started pulling, rescanning, and, in some cases, scanning for the first time images for a new zine titled some nights i can’t sleep.

In some cases, I wonder why I overlooked specific photos when I first made them, like these two:

I have grand ideas for this upcoming zine; I want to flesh it out more than I’ve done in the past.  A mini photobook is what I have in mind, so I’ve begun making trips back out into the streets at night to photograph.

I’m also planning to do something that I rarely do.  This week, my family is going south to the beach for vacation, and I plan to sneak off for a few hours at night to see what I can find.  

I’ve been to this beach a handful of times, back in college for Spring Break and a couple of times with my wife and son.  But never to photograph anything but memories of our family vacation.

I plan on traveling super light with one camera, a few rolls of film, + a tripod.

I should come back with a few worthy images.
