So….

I posted that I had applied to the New York Portfolio Review, but that didn’t happen. Looking through my old rejection emails, I found one from back in 2019. So this is my second rejection from them.  

I am looking for many, many more in the future!

Since I decided to start pushing myself more than I have, I’ve grown used to rejection emails and started counting on rejection.  Where I start freaking out is when someone accepts me for an exhibition! 

I’ve been fortunate to be accepted in two physical exhibitions where I had to make prints and frame them!  I even had to ship two prints off to Nacogdoches, Texas, for a show, the first time that’s happened to me.   Hopefully, it won’t be the last.

A friend from Dallas, Efren Lozano, sent me this photo from the Nacogdoches exhibit, as he also had some work in the exhibition.
