I sat on this photo for a while, I didn’t really care for it at first, I don’t really look to make detail photos of scenes, I always like backing up and including more of the environment in my photographs.  But I’ve always liked this mural for some reason.  I also liked how an artist came and updated it during the early days of us learning to live in the pandemic, as it used to have a message from the Dallas PD welcoming people to the neighborhood of Deep Ellum.  It also shows how divided we were early on.
